Howdy! I’m Peyton Runyan, a software engineer based out of Durham, NC. I currently work at Prefect, where I help develop our data orchestration tooling. Previously I was senior data scientist at The Recycling Partnership, where I was responsible for our backend, machine learning, and data pipelines. Most of my experience is in Python, Go, and SQL.
The majority of my free time seems to be spent at the dog park, but I enjoy kickboxing a couple times a week and the occasional scuba diving trip.
I also mentor students interested in data science and data analysis. I’ve written a few articles for them (and experimented with a few non-technical articles) at LetterDrop.
